Inaugural Women's Camp
From June 25th - 28th, Pro Crease Goaltending will hold its second annual Women's Camp dedicated solely to female goaltenders. Top women's coaches as well as professional and collegiate players will comprise our staff. Edith Racine from Cornell University, Tara Connolly from R.P.I. and Sydney Rossman (Connecticut Whale) from the N.W.H.L. will lead this specialized four-day camp to be held at Newington Ice Arena in Newington, CT. The camp is intended to further develop female players whether they play on an all girls team or with boys. Several special guest speakers are also scheduled to attend including a past Gold Medal winning member of the U.S. Olympic Team as well as Performance Enhancement Coach Dr. Jason Emery. This camp will run from 5:00 - 8:40pm to accommodate those goaltenders who may still be in school or have daytime commitments.
The Frozen 72
Our second ever Frozen 72 Hour Camp will take place on the beautiful campus of the University of New England located in Biddeford, ME. We are intentionally limiting the size of this camp in order to provide a premier goaltending camp experience for those attending. Toward that end, we will take 16 highly committed goaltenders (U15 - NCAA) to the University of New England for 72 hours of an extremely specific and individualized goaltending camp experience. A close ratio of coaches to students will insure 72 hours of an outstanding and safe experience.
Exclusive Sports Vision Training
Coach's Eye is the world's leading video platform for coaches and athletes who need to review athlete technique and game film. Pro Crease Goaltending will be utilizing Coach's Eye at all Development Camps. Each camper will receive their video via e-mail after each day's session enabling them to have a record of all the drills utilized throughout the week that they can then use during the upcoming season.
Special goaltending specific vision training will take place at all Pro Crease Goaltending Summer Camps. This off-ice vision training is intended for goaltenders to "take home" so they can replicate the drills and exercises taught on their own throughout the entire season.
Mental Performance Coaching
Dr. Jason Emery, Clinical Psychologist and Performance Enhancement Coach, works with campers to develop skills and techniques to tackle the mental, emotional and psychological side of the game by cultivating resiliency and a growth mindset, improving focus and concentration, and creating the Optimal Performance Zone (OPZ). Learn how to take control of anxiety and stress, improve confidence and motivation, overcome performance plateaus and burnout, work through various forms of adversity and pressure, and much, much more.
